2⁄3 lb (300 g) sirloin steak, trimmed and cut into 1” cubes
1 red or white onion, peeled and cut into even wedges
12 medium whole fresh mushrooms
bamboo skewers, pre-soaked in water to prevent scorching
sesame seeds, to taste
- Combine steak, onion, and mushrooms with Sesame Ginger Dressing in a medium-size mixing bowl. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes, and up to 2 days.
- Alternately thread steak, onion wedges, and mushrooms onto bamboo skewers.
- Preheat barbecue to medium heat. Grill kebabs turning often for 6–8 minutes, or until cooked as you like.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
