6 (8 in/20 cm) whole-wheat or multi-grain sub buns, cut in half lengthwise
2 cups Romaine lettuce leaves, washed and dried
1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
- Preheat oven to 300° F (150° C).
- Slice chicken into strips. Place in frying pan, and stir in sauce. Reheat in oven until warm, approximately 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, spread 3 Onion Dip on both sides of each sub. Arrange Romaine and peppers on each.
- Top each with 3 - 4 chicken strips. Dollop sauce overtop. Cut in half, and arrange on a platter.
