Yams cooked in just 5 minutes! Yams are a great way to add essential nutrients and fibre to your diet. They’re a low-calorie carb with loads of Vitamins A and C and potassium, which are important for eye health, immunity, and heart health. Use this recipe as a jumping off point: load baked yams with your favourite toppings, like prepared Guacamole, Pulled Pork, Butter Chicken, Philly-Style Cheesesteak filling—there are endless possibilities!

Preparation
  1. Scrub yams and pierce several times with a fork. Place in Multipurpose Steamer and microwave, covered, for 5–7 min, until easily pierced with a fork. 
  2. Slice potato across the top. Top each yam with 12 tbsp butter and dip mix.

Serve with 4 oz (113 g) lean protein and 2 cups leafy greens with 1 tbsp Epicure Dressing.
