Sip on summer with this cocktail that’s as refreshing as a front porch breeze. Juicy peaches, a hint of mint, and a touch of bourbon bring Southern charm to every sip. Whether you’re hosting friends or treating yourself, this quick and easy drink is ready in just 5 min.

Ingredients

2 tbsp Summer Berry Sweet Dip Mix 

2 tbsp boiling water

½ peach

3–4 large mint leaves

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice 

1 oz bourbon

1 oz peach schnapps

Crushed iced

Toppings (optional): peach slice, mint sprig

Preparation

  1. To make simple syrup, stir sweet dip mix and boiling water together until sugar dissolves, about 30 sec–1 min. Place in fridge to cool.
  2. Slice peach, you should have about ½ cup. In a cocktail shaker, muddle peach slices and mint leaves. 
  3. Add lemon juice, bourbon, peach schnapps, and 1–2 tbsp cooled simple syrup. Fill shaker with ice, cover, and shake well.  
  4. Fill a serving glass with crushed ice. Strain cocktail into glass over ice.
  5. Garnish with a peach slice and mint sprig, if desired.

Recipe Note

Recipe tip: For an elegant presentation, rim glass with lemon juice and sweet dip mix, then fill with ice and cocktail. 

Fresh peaches taste best, but frozen (thawed) work well too! The sweetness of your peaches will determine whether you use 1 or 2 tbsp of simple syrup.
