Warm Apple Crisp
8 large tart apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
2 tbsp lemon juice
3⁄4 cup sugar
2 tspApple Pie Spice
1⁄4 cup dried fruit
1 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
1⁄2 cup oat flakes
3⁄4 cup brown sugar
3⁄4 cup butter
- Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
- Toss apples with lemon juice. Add sugar, Apple Pie Spice and dried fruit, tossing to coat.
- Spoon into oven-proof baking dish.
- Combine flour, oats and brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
- Bake 40 minutes.
