Royal Icing

Royal Icing is a hard white icing used to decorate cookies, wedding cakes and gingerbread houses.
Ingredients
2 1⁄2 cups icing sugar, sifted
2 large egg whites
Preparation
- In a mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff.
- Add icing sugar. Adjust icing sugar amount for desired decorating consistency.
