Red Pepper Jelly & Tea-glazed Pork Chop

Fruity and savoury, these pork chops are great for a family dinner or entertaining!

Ingredients
1⁄2 cup apple juice
2 tsp Assam black tea
4 (6 oz/170 g) pork loin chops
1 tbsp herbes provencales
Sea Salt (Grinder), to taste
Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste
2 tsp vegetable oil
2 tspRed Pepper Jelly
Preparation
- In a Multipurpose Pot heat apple juice. Remove from heat, add tea, and steep for 5 minutes. Strain and set apple tea aside.
- Sprinkle pork chops with herbes provençales, Sea Salt, and Black Pepper.
- Preheat a frying pan to medium. Add vegetable oil and fry pork chops for 3–5 minutes per side. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Pour apple tea into pan and stir vigorously to incorporate all bits. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add Red Pepper Jelly and stir. Once fully incorporated, return pork chops and any juices.
