Nona's Noodles with Meat Sauce
1 tbsp butter
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
1 can (6 oz/170 ml) tomato paste
1⁄2 cup water
1⁄4 tsp nutmeg (ground)
1 tbsp Souvlaki Seasoning
Sea Salt (Grinder), to taste
Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste
1 pkg (1 lb/450 g) thin egg noodles
1⁄2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Melt butter in frying pan. Cook beef until no longer pink.
- Stir in tomato paste, water and Epicure Seasonings. Season to taste with Sea Salt and Pepper. Simmer sauce for 10 minutes.
- While sauce is cooking, cook noodles according to package directions. Drain.
- Pour sauce over noodles. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
