Oh Canada Crispy Baked Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 lb (900 g) chicken wing, halved at joints, wing tips discarded
  • 1 tbsp oil or butter
  • 3 tbsp Oh Canada

Preparation

  1. Adjust your oven rack to the upper-middle position. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack (a cooling rack works great) on top. Spray the rack with non-stick spray.
  3. Use paper towels to pat the wings dry and place them in a large bowl. Toss wings with oil and seasoning.
  4. Arrange wings, skin side up, in a single layer on the prepared wire rack.
  5. Bake on the upper-middle oven rack, turning every 20 minutes until the wings are crispy and browned. The total cook time will depend on the size of the wings, but it may take up to 1 hour.
  6. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Transfer wings to a bowl.

Recipe Note

Recipe tip: No cooling racks? No problem! Just use a lined sheet pan (they might not get as crispy!)
