Cheeseburger Salad

All the flavors of a cheeseburger—no bun required! Crisp iceberg lettuce is topped with seasoned beef, melty cheese, tomatoes, pickles, and red onion. A fun, lighter twist on a classic favorite.

Cheeseburger Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (your choice)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 - 3 tbsp Burger Seasoning
  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 dill pickle (reduced sodium)
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 small red onion
  • ⅓ cup prepared 3 Onion Dip (optional)

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in a large fry pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add beef. Reduce heat to medium until beef is browned, about 4 min. Stir in seasoning and ketchup. and cook for about 2 more minutes until beef is fully cooked.
  3. Meanwhile, cut lettuce into quarters. Discard stem and chop leaves. Chop tomatoes. Dice pickle. Slice onion into rings.
  4. Divide lettuce among four plates. Top evenly with prepared 3 Onion Dip, meat, tomatoes, onion, pickle, and cheese.
