Stuffed Cannelloni

A showstopping dinner in the oven in about 10 minutes? Absolutely! This fun to prepare dish comes together quick and easy and then just set it and forget it in the oven, giving you plenty of time for other things!

Stuffed Cannelloni

Ingredients

  • 1 box 9 oz (250 g) cannelloni pasta
  • 1 ½ pints cherry tomatoes
  • 11 oz (300 g) mini mini bocconcini cheese balls
  • 4 cups prepared Marinara Sauce
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Line a 9x13” oven safe baking dish with 1 cup of marinara sauce.
  3. Stuff dry cannelloni noodles with cherry tomatoes and bocconcini one at a time in an alternating pattern.
  4. Lay stuffed cannelloni down into sauce and pour remaining sauce overtop. Top with parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake 45 min, or until pasta is softened and cheese is GBW (golden brown & delicious)

Recipe Note

Swap out your favourite cheese for topping before baking, we prefer hard cheeses, but most types will do!

Carefully poke the noodles with the tip of a knife to see if the noodles are tender after baking.

Be sure and get cherry tomatoes and bocconcini balls that are going to fit into your cannelloni noodles. If it’s difficult to find the right size ingredients, try manicotti noodles as they are a little bigger!
