Smashed Broccoli

Crispy, cheesy, and full of flavour. This is broccoli for people who don’t like broccoli. Even the pickiest eaters will be converted! Quick and easy, this family-friendly side dish is in the oven in just 5 minutes.

Smashed Broccoli

Ingredients

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp SPG Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Herb & Garlic

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425° F
  2. Place broccoli into microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, or until tender.
  3. Transfer to pan and arrange in a single layer. Using the base of a measuring cup or glass, flatten broccoli into rounds.
  4. In a small bowl, combine seasoning and oil. Brush over broccoli. Sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Bake 15 min, or until cheese is golden.

Recipe Note

Try with your favourite shredded cheeses, such as asiago, mozzarella, or cheddar.
