Shrimp and Avocado Toast

Avocados are a great source of oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat, important for heart health. They are higher in fat than other fruits, so enjoy in moderation.

Shrimp and Avocado Toast

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Guacamole Dip (prepared)
  • 1 cup baby shrimp
  • 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
  • 8 slices whole-grain bread

Preparation

  1. Toast your favourite bread
  2. Gently fold shrimp and pepper into Guacamole Dip.
  3. Spread onto toast and enjoy!

Recipe Note

Makes a wonderful appy when served on crostini.
