Gnocchi with Creamy Lemon Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Lemon Chicken Orzo Seasoning
  • 1 cup half-and-half cream (10%)
  • 1 cup water, divided
  • 2 cups each of broccoli and cauliflower florets
  • 1 pkg (350 g/12 oz) gnocchi
  • Toppings (optional): grated Parmesan cheese, chili flakes

Preparation

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine seasoning, cream, and ½ cup water. Set aside.  
  2. Chop broccoli and cauliflower into small pieces. Place cauliflower in a pan set over medium-high heat. Add the remaining ½ cup of water and bring to a boil. Cover; steam for 2 min or until slightly softened.
  3. Add the seasoning mixture, gnocchi, and broccoli to the pan. Bring back to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 8–10 min, or until the sauce is thick. Add toppings, if desired.

Recipe Note

Add cooked chicken, white fish or prawns to make it a complete meal.
