Pillowy gnocchi are coated in a smooth, lemon-kissed cream sauce for an easy, satisfying meal that feels a little elevated without the effort.
Ingredients
1 pkg Lemon Chicken Orzo Seasoning
1 cup half-and-half cream (10%)
1 cup water, divided
2 cups each of broccoli and cauliflower florets
1 pkg (350 g/12 oz) gnocchi
Toppings (optional): grated Parmesan cheese, chili flakes
Preparation
In a medium-sized bowl, combine seasoning, cream, and ½ cup water. Set aside.
Chop broccoli and cauliflower into small pieces. Place cauliflower in a pan set over medium-high heat. Add the remaining ½ cup of water and bring to a boil. Cover; steam for 2 min or until slightly softened.
Add the seasoning mixture, gnocchi, and broccoli to the pan. Bring back to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 8–10 min, or until the sauce is thick. Add toppings, if desired.
