Chocolate Velvet Cheesecake

This incredible, easy to make chocolate cheesecake is perfect for impressing guests or just treating yourself. Rich and creamy, sweet, simple, and oh-so-irresistible.

Chocolate Velvet Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 1 ⅓ cups chocolate wafer or gluten-free cookie crumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Filling
  • 2 pkgs (8 oz/250g each) cream cheese
  • 1 pkg Chocolate Velvet Cheesecake Mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 325° F.
  2. Combine chocolate wafer crumbs with butter. Press into 9" springform pan.
  3. Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, beat cream cheese and mix until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add yogurt and beat until smooth. Pour into crust.
  4. Bake 40 min. Cool to room temperature. Refrigerate before serving.

Recipe Note

Slash prep time and use 2 premade chocolate crumb pie shells. Add filling; bake 30 min.

Recipe Tip: Place a pan of water in the bottom of the oven to promote even baking and reduce cracking.
