Cheesy Bacon Pasta

Ingredients

  • 3 cups uncooked rotini pasta
  • 4 cups hot water (or enough to cook pasta)
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
  • 1 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp CCB

Preparation

  1. Cook the pasta. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add rotini and cook until al dente, 8–10 minutes.
  2. While pasta is cooking, cook the beef and peppers.
Heat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it begins to brown (3–4 minutes)
  3. Add diced green pepper and continue cooking until the beef is fully cooked and the peppers have softened, another 3–4 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in the cooked pasta, milk, grated cheddar and CCB.
  5. Cook, stirring often, until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy and coats the pasta, about 3–5 minutes.
