- Whisk seasoning with 2 cups hot water.
- Cook 1 lb (450g) lean ground beef in a large sauté pan, over medium-high heat. Break it up into small chunks until browned. Drain.
- Stir in 2 tbsp ketchup, reserved seasoning mixture, and 2 cups fusilli or bite-sized pasta. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce Heat; cover and simmer for 15–17 min or until pasta is tender.
- Stir in ⅓ cup milk and 1 cup grated cheddar.
- Simmer and stir until cheese melts and sauce is well combined.
SERVE. Top with diced tomato, shredded lettuce, and pickles, if desired.
