Cheeseburger Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 cups hot water.
  • 1 pkg Cheeseburger Pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 cups fusilli or bite-sized pasta
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 1 cup grated cheddar.

Preparation

  1. Whisk seasoning with 2 cups hot water. 
  2. Cook 1 lb (450g) lean ground beef in a large sauté pan, over medium-high heat. Break it up into small chunks until browned. Drain. 
  3. Stir in 2 tbsp ketchup, reserved seasoning mixture, and 2 cups fusilli or bite-sized pasta. Bring to a boil. 
  4. Reduce Heat; cover and simmer for 15–17 min or until pasta is tender. 
  5. Stir in ⅓ cup milk and 1 cup grated cheddar. 
  6. Simmer and stir until cheese melts and sauce is well combined. 

SERVE. Top with diced tomato, shredded lettuce, and pickles, if desired.
