CCB Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 egg 
  • 2/3 cup milk, your choice
  • ½ cup salted butter, cold 
  • 1 pkg Quick Biscuit Mix 
  • 1-2 tsp CCB Dip Mix

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425° F. 
  2. In a small bowl, whisk egg with milk. Set aside.   
  3. Cube butter; place in a large bowl with biscuit mix. Using a fork or a pastry blender, cut butter until it’s the size of small peas. Mix in CCB.
  4. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients and stir until evenly moistened.
  5. Gently knead dough to form a dough. Flatten dough to 1-inch thickness.
  6. Cut with a biscuit cutter or a kitchen glass to form rounds. Place on a lined sheet pan. Brush tops with milk, if desired.
  7. Bake in preheated oven until tops are golden, 12 to 15 minutes. Best served warm.
