Taco Tostadas

Tostadas use corn tortillas that are lightly toasted or fried. And, instead of being fold up like a taco, they’re served open-faced, with the fillings served on top. It’s still best to eat them with your hands, so don’t get too overzealous piling on the toppings, a messy plate will be inevitable…you’ve been warned!

Preparation
- Heat frying pan over medium heat. Lightly toast tortillas, a few at a time, in the dry pan.
- Place warm tortillas on plates and top with Taco filling, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. Serve immediately.
