Red Pepper Jelly-glazed Chicken Strips
This great low-sodium recipe is jam-packed with flavour!
1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste
2 tbsp non-hydrogenated margarine
1⁄2 cupRed Pepper Jelly
1 tbsp lemon juice
- Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
- Season both sides of chicken with Black Pepper. Place on Sheet Pan lined with Sheet Pan Liner and bake for approximately 25 minutes.
- Heat frying pan over medium-low heat. Melt together margarine and Red Pepper Jelly. Stir in lemon juice.
- Brush glaze over chicken and place under broiler for 2-3 minutes. Turn over, apply remaining glaze and broil until crisp and pleasantly browned.
