Mulled Wine
Greet winter guests with the most welcoming hot drink of the season.
Ingredients
4 cups red wine
2 tbsp Mulling Spices
1⁄2 cup brandy, optional
cinnamon sticks, for garnish - optional
2 oranges, thinly sliced, for garnish - optional
2 lemons, thinly sliced, for garnish - optional
Preparation
- Gently simmer wine and Mulling Spices in Multipurpose Pot - 8 cup over medium heat for a minimum 15 minutes.
- Strain and return to the pot. Stir in brandy and simmer covered for 5 minutes.
- Sweeten to taste. Serve garnished with cinnamon sticks and orange and lemon slices, if desired.
