Hot Buttered Rum Apple Salad
1 tsp butter
2 tbsp Hot Buttered Rum Mix
2 apples, peel-on, cored and sliced
1⁄4 cup prepared Epicure Salad Dressing, your choice
8 cups chopped salad greens
1⁄4 English cucumber, thinly sliced
- In a frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in Hot Buttered Rum.
- When foamy, add apples. Sauté, stirring often, just until apples start to soften, 2–4 minutes. Stir in Salad Dressing, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Place salad greens in a large bowl. Add cucumber, apples, and dressing. Toss to mix. Serve immediately.
