Great Canadian Burger
Epicure salute to great flavours from the Canadian heartland.
1 1⁄2 lbs (675 g) lean ground beef
1⁄4 cup rolled oats
1⁄4 cup steak sauce
2 tbsp Honey Mustard
1 tbsp Burger Seasoning
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- With water-moistened hands, form mixture into 6 patties, each about 1” thick, or prepare burgers using 3-in-1 Burger Press.
- Place patties on a barbecue grill over medium-high heat. Close lid and cook for 5 minutes.
- Flip patties and top with prepared barbecue or grilling sauce. Continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer indicates a Food Safe internal temperature of 160° F (71° C).
