Perfectly Balance Your Plate
Serve with 1 cup sliced veggies, your choice.
Ingredients
1 tsp oil
1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
2 1⁄2 tbspCaesar Dressing Mix, divided
1⁄4 cup each 2% plain Greek yogurt and light mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, optional
1 large tomato
1⁄2 small red onion
4 lettuce leaves
4 burger buns
Toppings (optional): Parmesan cheese slices
Preparation
- In a large fry pan, heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine ground beef and 2 tbsp dressing mix. Form into four pucks (do not form patties).
- Add pucks to pan, leaving enough room to smash them down. Work in batches, if necessary. Using a spatula, press down on each puck until they’re smashed and thinned out. Cook 3–4 min per side, or until the edges start to brown.
- To make sauce, combine yogurt, mayonnaise, and remaining 1⁄2 tbsp dressing mix. Finely chop garlic clove and whisk in, if using. Set aside.
- Cut tomato into thick slices; slice onion into rings.
- Spread sauce on top and bottom buns. Place patty on bottom bun; top with tomato, onion, and lettuce. Cover.
