These are delicious tea cookies, infused with the magic of Earl Grey!


Ingredients
1 cup
all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
1 tbsp
Earl Grey tea
14 tsp
Sea Salt
14 tsp
vanilla extract
12 cup
unsalted butter, softened
14 cup
icing sugar
1 tbsp
finely grated orange or lemon zest, optional
1 tsp
water

Preparation
  1. In a food processor, pulse all dry ingredients until tea is pulverized.
  2. Add vanilla extract, butter, sugar, orange or lemon zest, if using, and water. Pulse until a dough starts to come together. Remove the dough onto a piece of wax or parchment paper and form into a log. Wrap the paper around and roll the log smooth. Chill for at least 30 minutes or freeze for later use.
  3. Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
  4. Slice the log into approximately 12’’ discs. Space 1’’ apart on a Sheet Pan lined with a Sheet Pan Liner. Bake until edges are slightly golden, 12–14 minutes.
