Toppings (optional): cinnamon sticks, thinly sliced orange, thinly sliced lemon 

Preparation
  1. In a large saucepan over high heat, bring wine and apple juice to a simmer. Whisk in drink mix.  
  2. Divide between mugs. Serve with garnishes, if desired.  
Tips

You can use sweetened or unsweetened apple juice. You could even swap apple for cranberry or pomegranate juice.
