Pizza alla Bismark, or cooked egg on pizza, is a delicious Italian tradition — a good excuse to have pizza for breakfast!
1 prepared whole-wheat pizza shell (12"/30 cm)
1 large tomato, sliced
1 bell pepper, cut into rings
1⁄3 cup grated Parmesan cheese or pecorino cheese
1 cup baby spinach
- Preheat oven to 425° F (220° C).
- Place shell on a crisper and spread evenly with sauce, leaving a 1⁄2" border around edge. Sprinkle with dip mix and arrange tomato and peppers on top.
- Bake until shell starts to brown, about 8–10 minutes. Remove from oven and crack eggs on top. Sprinkle with cheese and continue to bake for about 5 minutes, until eggs are set but yolks are still runny. Slice and top with greens prior to serving.
