Flavoured, cooked cornmeal — delicious warm from the pot, or cooled and grilled as an accompaniment to stews.

Ingredients

Preparation
  1. In a Multipurpose Pot, bring cold water to a rapid boil. Add Sea Salt and butter, and reduce heat so water is still simmering.
  2. Add cornmeal in a steady stream while rapidly stirring. Add Marinara Sauce Mix and continue to stir for 3 - 5 minutes or until polenta begins to pull away from the sides of the pot as you stir.
  3. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 15 - 20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed and polenta is tender.
  4. Spoon soft polenta onto a serving platter and top with a heated sauce of your choice.
