A warm, delicious bowl of pure comfort. Enjoy this classic soup on a cold day or when you're feeling under the weather.

Ingredients

8 cups (2L) prepared Nourish Broth
1/3 cup diced carrots
1/3 cup diced celery
1 bay leaf
1/2 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breast cut into bite sized pieces
1 cup (250 ml) fine egg noodles or gluten free noodles
2 tsp SPG

Preparation

1. Combine Nourish Broth, diced carrots, diced celery and bay leaf in a pot over medium high heat. Bring to a boil.
2. Stir in chicken, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to ensure chicken is cooked
3. Stir in noodles and simmer soup an additional 5 minutes.
4. Stir in SPG and serve immediately.

Recipe Note

Say goodbye to mushy noodles - the noodles will continue absorbing liquid from the leftover soup as it cools (becoming gradually softer and mushier) If you don't like mushy noodles in your leftover soup, keep the pasta and soup separate and add the pasta to bowls individually.
