The easiest cheesecake you'll ever make. Square slices make this cake a treat for the eyes.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs or finely crushed graham crackers
1/3 cup melted butter
2 (8 oz) pkgs light cream cheese, softened
3 - 4 tbsp Baked Apple Sweet Dip
1/4 cup light sour cream
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C).
2. Combine crumbs with butter, then press into an 8” square pan lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate while preparing filling.
3. For the filling, beat cream cheese with Baked Apple Sweet Dip. Beat in sour cream, then egg and vanilla extract.
4. Bake until centre is firm, 35–40 minutes. Cool completely before serving.
Recipe Note
Place a pan of water in the bottom of the oven to promote even baking and to reduce cracking.
For the best flavour, refrigerate overnight. Cut into squares and top with whipped cream and fresh berries, if you wish.
