Ingredients


Makes: 4 servings
  • 1 lb (450 g) sirloin beef, cut into strips
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) vegetable oil, divided
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) Asian Stir-Fry Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp (2,5 ml) Chinese five-spice
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Minced Garlic
  • 1 lb (450 g) fresh or frozen broccoli florets
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) cornstarch
  • 1/2 C (125 ml) Vegetable Broth, prepared

Preparation


 
  • Mix beef with 1 Tbsp (15 ml) oil, Asian Stir-Fry Seasoning, and Chinese five-spice. Marinate 15 minutes.
  • Heat Wok & Glass Lid or Fry Pan over medium-high heat. Add remaining oil, beef and Minced Garlic. Stir-fry for 3 – 5 minutes, then add broccoli.
  • Whisk cornstarch into Vegetable Broth and add to pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for approximately 5 minutes, or until broccoli is tender-crisp and sauce thickens.
