Ingredients


Makes 18 small or 10 large twists
  • 1 pkg (8 oz/250 g) frozen puff pastry, defrosted
  • flour, for dusting
  • 1 egg, beaten with 1 tsp (5 ml) water
  • 1/4 C (60 ml) Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 C (125 ml) Gruyère or Swiss cheese, grated
  • Sea Salt (Grinder), to taste
  • Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste

Preparation


 
  • Preheat the oven to 425° F (220° C).
  • On Bake & Roll, roll puff pastry into a 10.5” (26 cm) square. Gently flip onto Appy Maker. Using a rolling pin, firmly roll over to cut pastry.
  • Sprinkle entire surface with cheeses, Salt, and Pepper. Using the rolling pin, lightly press cheese into puff pastry. Starting at wide end, roll up each twist on the Appy Maker, and form into crescents.
  • Place on Sheet Pan lined with Bake & Roll. Using Basting Brush, lightly brush each with egg wash. Bake until puffed and golden: approximately 10–11 minutes for small, 12–14 minutes for large.
