Sesame Crunch Chickpea Burger

Ingredients
1 can (19 oz/540 ml) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 small zucchini, grated
2 slices sandwich bread (gluten-free, if desired)
1⁄4 cup crunchy peanut or almond butter
1 tbsp Sesame Ginger Dressing Mix
2 tbsp Sesame Crunch Topper
Sea Salt (Grinder), to taste
Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste
vegetable oil, for grilling
Preparation
- In a food processor, or with a masher, combine chickpeas, zucchini, bread, nut butter, Sesame Ginger Dressing Seasoning, Sesame Crunch Topper, Sea Salt, and Black Pepper. Pulse until roughly chopped.
- Form the mixture into four patties. Patties can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Heat a fry pan to medium. Add oil and pan-fry patties for approximately 5 minutes per side, until crisp and brown on the outside and warmed through. Serve with your favourite burger buns and fixings.
