Tired of the ol’ potato? Switch up your fry game with polenta – aka – cornmeal. Kind of like the French fry version of cornbread. Give it a whirl! 


Ingredients
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 450° F (230° C).
  2. In a Multipurpose Steamer, blend cornmeal with cheese and seasoning. Stir in water.
  3. Cover and microwave on high for 10 minutes. Cool completely (refrigerate if in a hurry)
  4. Turn polenta out onto a cutting board. Cut into French fry-shaped pieces. Place on a crisper, then use a basting brush to lightly brush with oil.
  5. Bake until crispy, 5 - 7 minutes.

Serve with 1 protein serving and 12 cup of veggies.
