Creamy Chowder

Perfectly Balance Your Plate
Serve with a side salad and your favorite Epicure salad dressing.
Ingredients
1 pkg Creamy Chowder Seasoning
2 cups milk, your choice
3 cups cubed potatoes
3⁄4 cup each diced celery and carrots
2 cups water
1 can (10 oz/142 g) clams, including broth
Preparation
MICROWAVE
- In a bowl, whisk seasoning with milk; set aside.
- In Multipurpose Steamer, combine potatoes, celery, and carrots with water. Cover and microwave until tender, 10–12 min.
- Stir in reserved seasoning mixture. Microwave, uncovered, for 15 min, stirring every 5 min until thickened.
- Stir in clams, including broth. Spoon into bowls.
STOVETOP
- In a bowl, whisk seasoning with milk; set aside.
- In Multipurpose Pot, combine potatoes, celery, and carrots with water. Cover and cook until tender, 10–12 min.
- Stir in reserved seasoning mixture. Bring to a boil; remove from heat.
- Stir in clams, including broth. Spoon into bowls.
