Ingredients


Makes: 16 servings
  • 3 C (750 ml) all-purpose flour
  • 1 C (250 ml) grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 tsp (20 ml) baking powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Toasted Onion
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) Sea Salt (Refill), finely ground
  • 3/4 C (180 ml) chilled butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 C (250 ml) buttermilk

Preparation


 
  • Preheat oven to 425° F. Line a Sheet Pan with a Bake & Roll.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cheese, baking powder, garlic, onion, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add butter; using your fingertips, rub into mixture until it resembles coarse meal.
  • Pour in buttermilk; using a fork, stir until a ragged dough forms. Using your hands, gently knead a few times until dough comes together.
  • Using a ¼ cup measure, drop biscuits onto pan, spacing 2” apart. Bake until deep golden, 15–18 min. Serve warm.

Tip


 

Tip: In a Prep Bowls (set of 4), melt ¼ cup butter with 1 Tbsp Rosemary Garlic Seasoning. Brush over warm biscuits.
