Ingredients


Makes: 4 servings
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml)
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 lb (450 g) flank steak or pork tenderloin, cut into strips
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 C (125 ml) prepared
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Asian Stir-Fry Seasoning
  • Iceberg or Boston lettuce leaves

Preparation


 
  • Whisk first 3 ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl. Add flank steak strips and toss to coat. Marinate in refrigerator for up to 12 hours.
  • Preheat Wok & Glass Lid or Fry Pan over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil and swirl to coat pan.
  • Cook beef strips in batches, browning on all sides. Set each cooked batch aside. Return all cooked beef to pan. Add sliced green onions.
  • Whisk Bouillon, cornstarch and Asian Stir-fry Seasoning in a small mixing bowl. Pour over beef and stir-fry over medium-high heat until sauce bubbles.
  • Let cool slightly. Serve beef mixture on a bed of lettuce, or roll up spoonfuls in individual lettuce leaves.
