15-Minute Cranberry Sauce
2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen
1⁄2 cup water
2 tbsp Chia Jam Mix
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp orange juice
1 tsp orange zest
- Combine cranberries, water, mix, maple syrup, orange juice, and zest in a Rectangular Steamer.
- Cover; microwave on high, for 4–5 min.
- Mash with Ground Meat Separator; let cool slightly, before serving.
Per serving (2 tbsp): Calories 30, Fat 0 g (Saturated 0 g, Trans 0 g), Cholesterol 0 mg, Sodium 0 mg, Carbohydrate 6 g (Fibre 1 g, Sugars 4 g), Protein 0 g.
This sauce only has 2 g (1⁄4 tsp) of sugar per 1 tbsp! Most store-bought cranberry sauce can contain up to a whopping 11 g (almost 3 tsp) of sugar per tbsp.
